For those of you with Premium Website Plans or Custom Websites, different roles are being introduced to enhance team collaboration:
- Content Editor: Can update text, images, and basic page structure but cannot alter design elements significantly.
- Designer: Has full access to design tools, allowing changes to layout, style, and complex functionalities.
- Approver: Reviews changes before they go live, ensuring quality control.
- Comments: Add comments and tag colleagues to enhance collaborations.
Staging and Approval Processes
- Staging: Before any change goes live, you can now preview it in a staging environment that mirrors your live site. This allows you to check and tweak without affecting your public-facing website.
- Approval Process: For teams where multiple eyes need to review content, an approval role can validate updates. Only after approval will changes be published, ensuring accuracy and consistency in your site's content.
