Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 1 September 2026

8digit S.à r.l.

This policy is part of the contract together with the accepted quote and the Terms of Service. If they conflict, the Terms of Service win on legal rules. The quote wins on price and scope.

1. No refunds

Payments are final. There is no refund and no pro-rata refund if you cancel, stop using a service, use only part of a period, or if 8digit ends the plan. Unused prepaid time is cancelled and not paid back.

From October 2026 onwards, monthly and yearly subscriptions and recurring licences are collected by SEPA Direct Debit via Stripe as set out in the Terms of Service. Paying by SEPA Direct Debit does not change the no-refund rule in this policy and does not create a right to reclaim amounts already collected, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

2. How to cancel

Write to support@8digit.lu.

Monthly plans: 30 days’ written notice. The plan runs through the notice period. That period is not refunded.

Yearly plans: 30 days’ written notice before the end date. If you cancel earlier, the plan runs to the end date. The unused part is not refunded.

3. Subscriptions and licences

Support plans, Microsoft 365, password manager, security, hosting, domains and similar add-ons follow section 2.

A licence is access to the vendor product only. Installation, configuration, training and support are separate and not refunded.

4. Hourly work, onsite, travel and projects

Work already done is payable in full. It is not refunded.

5. Hardware

Hardware is paid before we place the order. Once ordered, it cannot be cancelled.

No refund for change of mind, a wrong specification you gave us, or incompatibility that was not written on the quote.

Refund or replacement only where EU or Luxembourg law requires it for a legal defect. Extra work (reset, data copy, swap) is billed hourly.

6. Websites and marketing

If work has started, amounts paid are not refunded. Extra scope is extra cost.

7. 14-day withdrawal

The EU consumer cooling-off period does not apply to personalised services already started or to goods made to your specification. These terms are written for business customers.

8. If 8digit ends the plan

We may end a plan as set out in the Terms of Service. That does not create a refund.

9. How to ask

Send a written request to support@8digit.lu with your company name and invoice number.
