Warranty Policy

EU Legal Guarantee of Conformity

‍All new computers, laptops, and electronic devices sold by 8digit S.à r.l. benefit from the statutory 2-year guarantee of conformity under EU law (Directive 2019/771).

Refurbished devices come with a minimum 1-year legal guarantee (exact duration specified in writing on your invoice).

‍

This legal guarantee covers:

• Products that do not match the description
• Goods not fit for purpose
• Hidden defects present at delivery

You are entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund (as appropriate) at no cost to you.

Optional Extended Commercial Warranty

‍For added protection, we offer an optional 3-year extended commercial warranty (available for purchase at the time of sale).

‍

This covers:

• Repair or replacement of eligible hardware defects occurring during the warranty period

Exclusions:

• Misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Normal wear and tear
• Software issues or data loss

Full terms and conditions are provided upon purchase. This commercial warranty is in addition to — and does not affect — your statutory EU legal rights.

Validity

‍Both the legal guarantee and extended warranty are valid in Luxembourg and throughout the European Union.
